You've been craving a slower, more soulful way of living, you've found it
Hi, I'm Brittany, founder of Moss Maiden.
For over a decade now, I've been traveling the self-care journey, and at times it felt like just another checklist, another thing to do. Do the teacher training. Do the meditation training. Do the life coaching training. Then you will finally be integrated enough.
But the truth is, all of those pieces of paper are knowledge. I was seeking something deeper. I wanted wisdom. I wanted to fully experience the process, to embody it, to integrate it, to feel it.
When we gather too much knowledge in the mind, we can unintentionally create more disconnection. But when we slow down and listen to the body and the wisdom it carries, we give ourselves the space to integrate and embody the life we truly desire.
My path will look different from yours, but my hope is that through these products, offerings, and retreats, you are given a permission slip, that you feel encouraged and inspired to find your own way of embodying the messages that have been given to you for this human experience.
For me, it is a constant remembering that we are not separate from the Earth. We move through seasons just as she does. It is okay to feel. It is okay to let go. It is okay to retreat. The answers and wisdom that live within the body, and within the Earth herself, are where true shifts and healing begin.
I have the certificates. I have the pieces of paper. And I'm grateful for the knowledge they provided. But if I'm honest, what I rely on most is the wisdom I've gained through embodying these practices and experiencing them in my own body, in my own life.
So thank you for being here.
My hope is that you leave feeling a little more grounded, a little more connected, and a little more like yourself.
If you have been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, ungrounded, or caught in the constant cycle of overthinking and always wondering what comes next, you are not alone.
So many of us have been taught to live from the mind, disconnected from our bodies and the present moment.
My hope is that these offerings become gentle interruptions to that cycle.
When you slowly steep a cup of tea instead of rushing through your morning... when you massage botanical oils into your skin with intention... when you pause to take a deep breath before beginning your day... you're doing more than using a product. You're creating a ritual.
Ritual invites us back into the present moment. It reminds the nervous system that it is safe to slow down. It gives us a chance to step out of the noise, quiet the constant mental chatter, and simply ask, What do I need right now?
That is where I believe we begin to hear our own wisdom.
Each product is thoughtfully created to encourage those moments of presenceβnot because the products themselves hold all the answers, but because they create space for you to hear the answers that already live within you.
This same philosophy is woven into the way every piece is made.
These are not products rushed through machines or mass-produced for convenience. Each botanical infusion is crafted slowly over 8 to 12 weeks using traditional methods, allowing the plants time to gently share their gifts. Many of the herbs are gathered by my own hands, grown by local growers and friends, or sourced from small communities that honour the land with the same care and respect that I do.
Because if I believe in slowing down, then everything I create should embody that philosophy.
My hope is that every balm, tea, tincture, oil, mist, retreat, and ritual becomes an invitation to pause. To breathe. To soften. To reconnect with your body, with the Earth, and with the quiet wisdom that's been waiting for you all along.
This is the intention I gently weave into every offering.
